On Monday I visited the „Dacha na kirovke“ in Russia, Chelyabinsk. When I first came in my old hometown I was quite disappointed about the difference of development in Germany vs. Russia. Everyone who crossed my way ws shocked about being tattoed as a girl/young woman. It was just a very different feeling than in Berlin. Then my cousin took me to the „weekend up market“ on the „Kirovka“. It is a small market with different merchants, the entrance costs 50rub. (=0,78Euro). It was a really nice and hip atmosphere with many young people being around .
Most of the things on the market were selfmade, for example rings, chains, bracelets. You also can find watches, shirts aaand of coure selfmade cupcakes, coffee and peanut butter :-).
